It's My Birthday... I'm Gonna Party Like It's My Birthday...

Hellooooooo!
It's my birthday! Those of you who know me really well know how much I love my birthday. I know this sounds super selfish, but it's weird not having acebook. Seriously. It's very typical to have LOADS of people wish you a happy birthday and it's kind of nice to just get a few texts. I realized I only know people's birthdays because of Facebook. So, I'm sorry to everyone because I probably will never wish you a happy birthday again. Because Facebook has made all of us horrible friends who don't remember birthdays anymore haha! Anyways, life has been okay. I went to sushi with some friends on saturday (thanks Laura and Larissa) and then on Sunday, Jarrod and I went to Popeyes and then we made an awesome steak dinner with alfredo, salad, and garlic bread. YUM! The best thing about being a chef is, occasionally, when I'm in the mood, I can make myself whatever I want. It's rare that I actually want to cook for myself but it was fun. Jarrod definitely enjoyed it!
Side note: I get a LOT of work done without facebook. Whenever I have to have stuff done for work or just stuff around my house, I actually think to get it done. I used to just come home and scroll and scroll and then be overwhelmed because I still had so much to do. That's not a problem anymore and I love it. Sometimes I get bored and wish I could get on it and then I find something else to do. It's Awsome. You all should try it.
Side note: My boss/bestie made me the most amazing cake for my birthday. She spent her whole day off making me a triple layer chocolate cake with PIE BAKED INTO IT! PIE! BAKED INTO THE FRIGGIN' CAKE! Seriously. It's so effing good.
